Office Manager (February 2022)
The Finger Lakes Trail Conference seeks to hire a part-time Office Manager. This position is located in the FLTC Office in Mt. Morris, New York. The schedule is 32 hours per week and the salary range is $28,000-$38,000 per year.

The Office Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the FLTC office, including customer service, financial, human resources, and marketing support services. This position works collaboratively with the Executive Director, Director of Marketing and Communications, and Director of Trails Development. Responsibilities include:

  1. Financial Management and Board Reporting
    • Accounting, payroll, and insurance (Quickbooks, FLTC database)
    • Budget preparation and management
    • Support audit activities
    • Manage Grants Gateway
  1. Customer Service and Marketing Support
    • Conduct membership mailings; process new and renewing members
    • Support fundraising activities and process donations
    • Provide logistical support for major events
  1. Human Resources and Board Reporting
    • Supervise office staff (2 part-time office assistants)
    • Provide human resource support
  1. Health, Safety, Confidentiality and IT
    • Ensure proper storage and support confidentiality of sensitive documents and information
    • Execute relevant IT policies

Education and Experience: Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in administrative/financial/nonprofit environment; 8 years relevant experience in bookkeeping and office management.
