FLTC Office Power Restored
Power has been restored to the FLTC office in Mt Morris as of September 22. Due to the backlog from last week it may take time for us to respond to your email/order/phone call. Thank you for your continued patience.
Important Announcement Regarding the FLTC’s 2021 Fall Weekend Festival
The FLTC’s Fall Weekend Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2021 Fall Weekend Festival. Despite our best efforts to plan an event that would engage and celebrate our trail community, the registration numbers are just too low for us to provide a quality FLTC experience and give you the value you expect and deserve for the investment of your time and money. We hope that our trail community can gather at Trails Day on October 2, an event that will take place entirely outdoors, is free and open to members and the public, and gives plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy the FLT.
We want to thank the many volunteers who put in countless hours to plan this event in 2020 and again in 2021. We appreciate your efforts very much.
We know what a disappointment this is for those of you who were planning to celebrate and be recognized for finishing your End-to-End hike, and/or finishing the County Hike Series. We will be sending your awards to you and with all the optimism we can muster for a true return to normal in the next year, we will plan to formally and officially recognize you at our 2022 Fall Weekend Festival.
The Annual Membership Meeting, which is scheduled for 4 pm on Saturday, September 18, will be held virtually. You will receive a separate communication about the Annual Membership Meeting.
For those of you taking part in the County Hike Series, the final hike will still be held as scheduled on Saturday, September 18.
Thank you for your support of the FLTC. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
