As a member of a Roving Trail Crew you will work across the entire trail system over the course of a trail season (March – October) on one-day projects that are more than a single sponsor or maintainer can handle on their own. Projects may include and are not limited to: clearing corridor for re-routes, removing old blazing and putting up new blazes, working on tread and drainage along a section of trail, and building smaller trail structures to lift the trail out of wet areas. The Roving Trail Crew may also be a part of local workdays so folks can join them for their one-day projects. Training and tools will be provided when needed. Projects are announced tentatively and are weather-dependent.

The Roving Work Crew is coordinated by the FLTC’s VP for Trail Maintenance. For more information on how to get involved, email [email protected].
