Fall Weekend Celebration isn’t just about hiking the FLT. Whether you’re new to hiking, unfamiliar with the FLTC, or a seasoned pro in both, Fall Weekend is a time for making new friends, catching up with old friends, and spending time with like-minded people who love the great outdoors.

This year’s Fall Weekend has an amazing lineup of events planned, including:

While you’re celebrating with us, don’t forget to explore the village! The village of Watkins Glen is known for its charming local shops, fantastic outdoor adventures including Watkins Glen State Park, lovely Seneca Lake, and the Watkins Glen International Speedway, lovingly nicknamed “The Glen”. Get a taste of what the town has to offer! If you are a local, you won’t be bored! There will be outdoor activities for you and the whole family to participate in.

Schedule of Events

All Fall Weekend Festival activities will be held at the Seneca Lake Event Center at 586 E 4th St, Watkins Glen, NY. Event sign in is at the Event Center. All guided hikes will leave from the Event Center at the designated time.

Friday, September 15

  • 10AM-5PM: Fall Weekend Event sign in at Seneca Lake Event Center
  • Beginning at 12:30PM: Hikes depart from Event Center
  • 5PM: Happy Hour
  • 6PM: Dinner
  • 7:30PM: Live Acoustic Music with Jason Payton

Saturday, September 16

  • 8AM-5PM: Fall Weekend Event sign in at Seneca Lake Event Center
  • 8AM: Breakfast Pick Up (if pre-ordered with registration)
  • 8-8:30AM: Make your own lunch (if pre-ordered with registration)
  • Beginning at 8:30AM: Hikes depart from Event Center
  • 4PM: Annual Members Meeting
  • 5PM: Happy Hour
  • 6PM: Dinner
  • 7:30PM: Awards Ceremony

Sunday, September 17

  • 8AM: Breakfast Pick Up (if pre-ordered with registration)
  • 8-8:30AM: Make your own lunch (if pre-ordered with registration)
  • Beginning at 8:30AM: Hikes depart from Event Center
