Post-hike Social Events

Following our One-Day End-to-End Hike of the FLT we plan to gather for these events. If you can join us, please make sure to include the event number on the registration form. This will help the organizers of your event to prepare.

Event #1 – Ellicotville Picnic

At Pat Haynes’ house, 6543 Donlen Drive, Ellicottville, NY (click for map). Any dish to pass is fine. A folding chair might help too. The picnic will start around 2 pm until? My cell is 716-472-5189

Event #2 – Ithaca Picnic – 3:30 PM

The Cayuga Trails Club will sponsor a picnic at the Children’s Garden shelter in Cass Park on Route 89 in Ithaca (Click for map). CTC will provide pizza and soft drinks. Please bring any additional food and beverages you wish.

Event #3 – Rushford Lake Picnic

At Dick Hubbard’s home on Rushford Lake. Any 50th Anniversary hikers in the area (eastern Cattaraugus or Allegany County) are invited to join. Hot Dog BBQ provided, please bring something to share and your own beverage of choice. Bathing suit if the weather cooperates. Plenty of camping space for tents or RV campers. Overnighting is fine. 8541 Glenn Road, Rushford, NY 14777 (click for map). Off Rt 243 east of Rushford, on Rushford Lake – take Russell Road (nearly across the road from the Hardware Store). Follow to the very end – make a LEFT onto treed lane and follow around to the right; make first LEFT. House is second on RIGHT.

Event #5 – Ludlow Creek Lean-to Picnic

Join Bullthistle and Triple Cities Hiking Clubs of a picnic at the Ludlow Creek Lean-to. 50th Anniversary End-to-End Hike Grand Marshall Ed Sidote will join us too. There is a parking area on Tucker Road with a short walk on the trail into the lean-to itself (click for map). Food and beverages will be provided.

Event #6 – Kanakadea Park, Hornell
